For Jonna and the second-graders in East Farms Elementary School's strings program, June 14 was a special night. With parents, grandparents, siblings and friends gathered in the gym, these 7- and 8-year-olds performed on cello, viola and violin. They certainly have come a long way since those first squeaky, scratchy noises in September. |
